November 2011Several HMSA members were part of the support group that came to Houston to validate the January 14, 2012 Men's and Women's Olympic Marathon Trials — the first time the men and women have run on the same course and on the same day. Tom McBrayer (L) was the course measurer and was assisted by Mary Anne McBrayer. Bob Barnhill (R) led the out-of-town group of five validators as the rode Houston streets at 3 a.m. on a Saturday morning.
