HMSA's annual Picnic in the Park/Ugly-Pretty Foot contest drew a bigger than usual crowd this year, we're happy to say. Check here for some photos of the event held on July 11.

Spaghetti Warehouse was the site of our annual spring banquet and election of officers. It's really our only official meeting of the year and there were 70+ people who enjoyed the evening and the meal. So far, we've not been treated to a visit by the resident ghost of the Warehouse. Now that would be a special treat. Here's photos of the evening.

March 6 & 7 saw the third running of the Texas Independence Relay and 12 HMSA'ers handed off to one another over the 203 mile course from Gonzales to the San Jacinto Monument. Pictures are courtesy of Paul Cooley, Pam Snapp and Bob Chandler. Bob didn't run but met the team at the Monument. As always, it's slow to load.

Sunday, December 13, 2009 was the date of our annual Holiday Party.
Treebeards, featuring Cajun & Creole dishes, was the venue.
Plates were full and so were the guests, but there was still room for the blondies and brownies.
Notice that we had "Mrs. Spock" in our midst this evening.
